PASTOR COREY SALTER
Pastor Salter was born in Montevallo, Alabama on December 10, 1979. He graduated high school in 1998 from Montevallo High. Pastor Salter went on to receive his College Degree in Criminal Justice from Jacksonville State University in 2004.
Early in his collegiate career, Pastor Salter excepted the call of God to preach at the age of 19. He preached his first sermon on November 9, 1998. Since this time, he has dedicated his life to serving the Lord and helping to encourage others to make Jesus their Lord and Savior.
Pastor Salter found his wife Carla Seantae Parker in June 2003. He started working for the State of Alabama Pardons and Paroles in 2004. Pastor Salter and Carla decided to marry on May 7, 2005. Shortly after they were married they had their first son, Caleb Salter.
In February 2007, Pastor Salter was called to Pastor Friendly Missionary Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. The Lord blessed him to Pastor there for five years. During his Pastorship at Friendly Missionary God blessed Pastor Salter and his wife with a second son, Caeden Salter.
In April 2012, God blessed Pastor Salter to become the Pastor of Morning Star Christian Church where he is currently serving. The Lord soon called Pastor Salter to full time ministry and he retired from the State of Alabama in 2015.
During the first few months of ministry at Morning Star, the Lord once again blessed Pastor Salter and his wife with another son, Carter Salter. Pastor Salter went on to receive his Masters Degree in 2016 from Birmingham Theological Seminary.
Pastor Salter is a loving and devoted man of God who has a heart for the people and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His mission is to Exalt the Savior, Equip the Saints, and Evangelize the Sinner
